Expat Story: Chris, a Science Teacher from New Zealand, relocated with his wife to Geneva, Switzerla

Chris and his wife relocated from New Zealand to Switzerland for two years. His coach conducted research to determine whether or not Chris would be able to teach, and if so, in which schools. She provided him with information about the educational system in Switzerland, licensing and certification. The coach also gave him several contacts to speak with regarding specific information about the job market for teachers.
Other alternatives such as continuing his education and identifying meaningful and career-related volunteer opportunities were also explored in detail. After carefully evaluating all of his options, Chris chose to use the time to further his education and get an advanced degree, so that he could return to New Zealand with higher qualifications and be eligible for increased income.
